(Image: Callinex Mines)[/caption] NEW BRUNSWICK – The independent 43-101 estimate for the Nash Creek zinc-lead-silver project shows a major increase in contained metals. The project is owned by Vancouver-based Callinex Mines, and it is located 20 km west of Belledune, in the Bathurst mining camp. Indicated contained zinc equivalent increased by 74% to 963 million lb., and the inferred portion is estimated to be more than three times larger at 407 million lb. The new estimate includes an indicated resource of 13.6 million tonnes grading 3.2% zinc equivalent (2.7% zinc, 0.6% lead, and 17.8 g/t silver). The inferred  portion is 5.9 million tonnes averaging 3.1% zinc equivalent (2.7% zinc, 0.5% lead, and 14.0 g/t silver). The estimate is based on 279 drill holes totaling 37,421 metres. The Nash Creek sulphide deposit is hosted within the Early Devonian Dalhousie Group volcanics and volcaniclastic bedrock units.  It has two main zones called the Hickey zone, located to the north and the Hayes zone, located to the south. The project itself includes several high grade zinc occurrences over a 20-km-long trend with the same geologic setting. The maiden preliminary economic assessment for Nash Creek with a conceptual open pit mine is due in May 2018. Additional details about the Nash Creek project are available at www.Callinex.ca.
