SASKATCHEWAN – Fission Uranium Corp. of Kelowna, BC, says all 29 holes drilled in the R780E zone at the Patterson Lake South project returned strong to moderate mineralization at shallow depth. And then there was hole PLS14-248 on line 825E that returned composite assay intervals including 35.13% U3O8 over 16.5 metres within a longer interval of 13.23% over 47.5 metres.
The exceptional interval is the strongest discrete mineralized interval drilled at PLS to date, said the company. The core came from the semi-pelitic gneiss of the hanging wall.
Fission has now traced uranium mineralization at PLS over 2.24 km on an east-west strike in four separate zones. The deposit remains open along strike in both directions.
