SASKATCHEWAN - The Roughrider East zone at the Midwest Northeast project in the Athabasca Basin recently returned values as high as 22.5% U3O8 says Hathor Exploration of Vancouver. That particular intersection was 12 metres long beginning at 286.0 metres below surface.
Other high-grade assays included (at descending depths) 6.29% U3O8over 5.0 metres starting at 260.5 metres, 9.15% over 8.0 metres, 5.34% over 15.5 metres, 3.65% over 25.5 metres, the aforementioned 22.5%, and 11.75% over 19.0 metres beginning at a depth of 311.0 metres.
Hathor has been drilling at the Midwest Northeast project since winter 2007. Two years later, during winter 2009, the best intercept - 84.2% U3O8 - was encountered.
