Participants can now choose to complete their training through webinars, where they access the material through a computer and complete it in a virtual classroom. Trainees can communicate directly with the instructor, ask questions, and interact as needed for the duration of their course. RCT says the skills training program is highly respected by major mining companies and it has decided to make these courses available online for workers at mine sites around the world. “This was deemed even more important due to the current global situation with the COVID-19 pandemic,” Sunil Kumar, RCT’s product training coordinator, said in a release. “Online training offers people convenience above all else. It is not always possible for the people wanting to undertake training to come to us or for our trainers to get to them due to circumstances out of our control.” In addition to webinar-based training, RCT now also offers a flexible self-learning option. These courses can be completed anytime and from anywhere – all of the material is available online through RCT’s training portal. “RCT is aware that everyone learns differently, whether they be visual learners, verbal or the hands-on approach. Therefore, we have made sure that we have catered to everyone’s style of learning,” Kumar added. Available courses include operator and maintenance training for those using RCT’s ControlMaster automation and SmarTrack Global industrial fleet management solutions. “These training courses are available to the masses and are perfect for anyone wanting to gain a competitive edge for a new job they are applying for,” Kumar concluded. RCT is a technology company that designs, manufactures and delivers technology and service solutions for mining clients around the world. The company also serves the industrial, agricultural and civil spaces; its training programs complement its technological solutions. For more information, visit www.RCT-Global.com.
