Continental, one of the world’s largest tire manufacturers, will showcase new and existing products at this year’s ConExpo. Continental will debut its new Generation 3 construction line of truck tires for on/off-road or mixed use. This line includes the Conti HSC 3 steer/all-position, Conti HDC 3 drive and Conti HAC 3 all-position tires.
The tires deliver high performance in the areas of mileage, durability, traction and retreadability. They arrive pre-equipped with Continental tire sensors for digital monitoring of tire pressure and temperature, and are covered by a 6-year warranty.
The Conti HSC 3 is a heavy truck, steer/all-position, construction tire whereas the Conti HDC 3 is a heavy truck, drive, construction tire. Finally, the Conti HAC 3 is a heavy truck, all-position, construction tire.
Continental offers a broad tire portfolio for the industry, from medium and heavy truck tires to earthmoving off-the-road (OTR) tires as well as digital tire monitoring solutions which help construction fleets increase uptime and reduce costs.
General Tire, a Continental brand, is also launching a bias line of OTR tires this year. The General Tire TE188 will be displayed at ConExpo. The TE188 is a multipurpose earthmoving tire and provides gripping edges on soft and wet ground

Every Generation 3 construction tire and radial OTR tire comes pre-equipped with a tire sensor. Continental’s digital solutions help fleets reduce downtime, improve safety and fuel efficiency, and minimize labor and maintenance costs associated with tire inspections.
