DENVER - U.S. GOLD CORP., led by well-known Canadian entrepreneur Rob McEwen, is going after three other gold miners, WHITE KNIGHT RESOURCES, NEVADA PACIFIC GOLD and TONE RESOURCES, all headquartered in Vancouver. The target companies have exploration projects in Nevada's Cortez Trend.
U.S. Gold is offering a share exchange that it says represents a 25% premium on the price of the Vancouver companies. It will issue 0.35 of a share for each White Knight share, 0.23 of a share for each Nevada Pacific share, and 0.26 of a share for each Tone share. The offer will remain open until 5 p.m. Vancouver time on March 23, 2007, unless the offers are withdrawn or extended.
McEwen was the founder of GOLDCORP. He occasionally invites investors to lunch to discuss his company. Check www.USGold.com for details.
