When excessive heat or flare-up is detected by the thermal camera, notifications are sent to pre-established email addresses, and at the same time a case mounted strobe light provides a local visual alert. The default set point temperature threshold for alert and notification is 50°C or the user can choose a different set point.
The camera system has Wi-Fi connectivity to enable monitoring from any computer with access to the network. The monitor might be placed in the security station or the information accessed from any internet enabled device such as a tablet or smart phone.
The fully self-contained system has automated operation in a portable hard case that provides for quick and easy setup with both DC battery for remote operation and AC power hookup.
An integrated laser pointer provides for camera alignment and the system includes a sturdy tripod for ease of deployment.
Users of the Provix Hot Work Fire Watch system will enjoy constant monitoring with instant notification – and that leads to safer operations with reduced costs.
