We have heard from Greg Lytle of Mountain Lake Resources saying that the assay we cited (8.37 g/t over 3.5 metres) was from the most recent, not the winter, drilling program at the company's Leprechaun deposit at its Valentine project. "The actual highlights from the winter program ... yield far superior results," he wrote.
As an example he pointed out hole VL-10-165 that returned 38.32 g/t Au over a true width of 9.0 metres from a starting depth of 164 metres below surface. The same hole returned the highest grade ever from the Valentine project, 321.05 g/t over 0.8 metres including 506.16 g/t over 0.4 metres.
Bonanza grades, indeed!
