PUMP NEWS Dewatering Pumps Slimmed Down

STOCKHOLM, Sweden ITT FLYGT now offers two new 60-Hz, slim-line submersible Flygt Bibo pumps for dewatering. The new models can handle up to 55 litres/sec and pump up to heads of 70 m. They are suitable for pipes ranging between 300 and 500 mm in diameter with 8-10-cm hoses. They are made from cast aluminum with outer stainless steel casings. They feature multi-vane impellers of hardened high-chrome cast iron to resist abrasion.

Bibo submersible pumps are designed to handle liquids containing high amounts of clay, stone chips, drilling fines, or other solids in applications exactly like mine dewatering. Full details are available at www.flygt.com.
