K+S Potash Canada (KSPC) of Saskatoon has once again been recognized as one of 20 companies in the province named Saskatchewan’s top employers. This is the fourth year in a row that KSPC has received this special designation for providing an exceptional workplace to its employees.

KSPC is developing the Legacy potash solution mine near Moose Jaw. This is the first greenfield potash mine to be built in the province in more than 40 years. Commissioning started last summer, and the first marketable tonne of potash should be produced by the end of 2017.
The company hired most of its operators in 2015 and 2015. Then it completed devoted 100,000 person-hours to the development of programs and training its workforce. The effort earned KSPC the National Human Resources Best Recruitment Award in 2015. The company currently employs 375 permanent and 80 temporary workers.
