ONTARIO - FIRST NICKEL of Toronto is reporting very long, good grade drill core from its West Graham nickel-copper property, 1.5 km east of its Lockerby mine near Sudbury. Two holes in particular are notable. Hole 2045 returned 0.59% Ni and 0.44% Cu over 70.2 metres, including 1.14% Ni and 0.60% Cu over 10.5 metres. Hole 2050 returned 0.55% Ni and 0.43% Cu over 86.7 metres, including 1.15% Ni and 0.71% Cu over 12.7 metres.
First Nickel has optioned a 70% interest in the West Graham property from LANDORE RESOURCES CANADA. The property includes the Conwest deposit, which was estimated in the 1960s to contain 3.9 million tonnes averaging 0.53% Ni and 0.33% Cu. First Nickel's current drilling program will result in a NI-43-101-compliant resource estimate.
