VANCOUVER — Shareholders at the annual meeting have approved the new name Teck Resources Limited and dropped "Cominco" from the company's legal name. The change was effective April 23, 2009.
Teck shares will continue to trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol TCK.A and TCK.B and on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol TCK.
