The new Lekatech electric hammer delivers huge benefits in mine environments, quarried, or urban construction below ground as well as above. Of light weight and high power, but producing low vibrations, these hammers are built for operator comfort, economic use and high productivity. The linear electric motor produces low emissions and operating costs, and as such, is transforming breaking globally.

Lekatech electric hammers integrate perfectly with other electrically powered machinery. The original Lekatech electric hammer can save up to 70% on energy costs. Additionally, it can significantly outperform comparable traditional technology, providing twice the blow impact energy of a hydraulic hammer of the same size.

The LEKA Toras 35 is based on tubular linear (permanent magnet) electric motor technology which is designed to withstand the harsh conditions of breaker hammer use. The unit, despite weighing only 540 kg, is robustly constructed with a minimum number of wear parts.

Besides energy saving and doubled blow impact force, the Toras 35 reduces oil consumption by 98%, compared to hydraulic hammers. Operators appreciate the hammer’s efficiency with its adjustable energy and frequency settings, high power-to-weight ratio, and digitized performance. And being electric, it is environmentally friendly.

The LEKA Toras 35 is now available from Lekatech, and a number of countries in Europe from Lekatech’s strategically located partners located throughout the world.
