MONITORING: Instantel introduces new Micromate and Minimate Pro firmware

[caption id="attachment_1003720231" align="aligncenter" width="467"] New Firmware is available from Instantel for both the Micromate and Minimate Pro units.[/caption] KANATA, Ont. – Instantel has released new firmware for both its Micromate and Minimate Pro monitoring units. MM10.88 for Micromate units corrects two issues. First, that of the histogram peak of the sound level microphone was higher than the waveform peak, when recording in histogram combo mode. This occurred when the peak was recorded at the end of the interval. Second, the corruption of  histogram event files. This occurred when the Micromate was rebooted while it was recording in histogram mode. The release of version FW10.75 for all models of Minimate Pro monitoring units corrects an issue where auto call home feature would not work when the auto call home access type was set to DNS name on the Minimate Pro monitor. The Minimate Pro was not correctly converting the call home DNS name to the corresponding IP address. Auto call home access types set to IP address were not affected.
