ONTARIO – Canada Rare Earth Corp. of Vancouver has signed an agreement with Yongzhou Xiangjiang Rare Earth Resource Co. to become the primary international supplier of monazite concentrate to the Chinese refinery. Canada Rare Earth executives have inspected the automated refinery and find that it meets all technical and environmental standards established by Chinese and international law. Canada Rare Earth’s most advanced project is the Clay-Howells property 45 km north-northeast of Kapuskasing. Besides total rare earth oxides, the deposit contains niobium oxide and magnetite. The company maintains its website at www.CanadaRareEarth.com that contains an overview of significant rare earth elements.
