MINING PEOPLE: Steinert, Leagold, Maritime Iron, and TomaGold

[caption id="attachment_1003725165" align="alignright" width="172"] Andreas Ernst[/caption] Steinert US of Walton, Kentucky, has named Andreas W. Ernst its new president and CEO. He is also chair of the Equipment and Service Providers Council. Adriaan “Attie” Roux has is the first COO at Leagold Mining Corp. of Vancouver. Until July 2017, he was COO of Endeavour Mining. The initial term of the new position is six months. Toronto-based Maritime Iron  has expanded its senior leadership team with the following appointments: COO and project director Rinaldo Stefan; construction manager Dan Donnelly; engineering manager Richard Gaspari; environment, health and safety manager Grant Gaudet; and CO Anna Ladd-Kruger. Maritime is studying the feasibility of a merchant pig iron production plant in New Brunswick. TomaGold Corp. of Montreal has named Robert Rosner to the newly created role of executive chairman of the board. He joined the board in August 2018 having held numerous executive positions are junior mining companies.
