MINING PEOPLE: Novo Resources, NSR Resources, Red Eagle Exploration, and Zinc One

[caption id="attachment_1003718693" align="alignright" width="133"] Quinton Hennigh[/caption] Vancouver-based Novo Resources has named Robert Humphryson its new CEO. He holds a mining engineering degree from the Western Australian School of Mines. Dr. Quinton Hennigh will become the company’s first chairman and retain his position as president. NSR Resources of Toronto says Eugenio Ferrari has become the company’s CEO and joined the board, replacing James Stefanik who resigned earlier this year. Ferrari is an economic geologist with over 25 years’ experience. The new VP exploration at Vancouver-based Red Eagle Exploration is David Thomas. He is a geologist with more than 20 years’ experience, and recently consulted for AMEC. His proficiency in Spanish will be an aid in overseeing work at the company’s properties in Colombia. Vancouver’s Zinc One Resources has welcomed Dr. William “Bill” Williams as its new CEO. He is the former CEO of Forrester and has a seat on the Zinc One board. He was the president and CEO of Orvana Minerals until 2013.
