Norton Rose Fulbright to focus on public-private partnerships (P3s). He will work with Doug Fried in the New York City office and Greg Lewis in Vancouver.
Anaconda Mining of Toronto has created a technical advisory committee for mine development. The committee will initially include of Kevin Bullock, Glenn Dobby and Keith Bullock. The company’s next mine is likely to be Goldboro in Nova Scotia.
Darian Yip has been appointed to the board of
Fission Uranium Corp. in Kelowna, B.C. His expertise is the Asian investment community in Hong Kong and China.
The new president and CEO of Toronto-based
New Gold is Renaud Adams, formerly the president and CEO of Richmont Mines. He is the holder of a BEng in mining and mineral processing from Laval University in Quebec. To make room for Adams on the board, Raymond Threlkeld has resigned.
