MINING PEOPLE: Mountain Province, New Dimension, and Vale

He has over 25 years of experience in the diamond industry rising to CFO at De Beers Group. Since September 2013, he has been the CEO of Firestone Diamonds. Brown’s know-how includes leading business transformation to develop lean, agile and high performing organizations. New Dimension Resources of Vancouver has named Robert Cameron McLean its VP of exploration. He is a professional geologist with  more than 20 years’ experience. Recently he led the exploration team at the Lac des Iles palladium mine. [caption id="attachment_1003723277" align="alignleft" width="162"] Ricus Grimbeek[/caption] Ricus Grimbeek is the new COO for Canada, the U.K. and Asian refineries at Vale S.A. He was recently South 32’s president and COO. A native of South Africa, he has worked in that country, Australia and Canada. His will be based in Sudbury, Ont.
