MINING PEOPLE: Kennady Diamonds, Latin American Minerals, and Precipitate Gold

Kennady Diamonds of Toronto has named Tom McCandless to its board of directors. He is president of MCC Geoscience and a former chief mineralogist at Stornoway Diamond Corp. Basil Botha is now chairman and CEO of Toronto-based Latin American Minerals. He has more than 35 years of international mining experience in gold, coal and other minerals. Vancouver’s Precipitate Gold Corp. has named Alistair Waddell, the former president and CEO of GoldQuest Mining, a directorship.
