Rockwell Diamonds of Vancouver has named James Campbell as president and CEO, effective June 1, 2011. He is a former VP of Lucara Diamond and managing director of African Diamonds, following a 20-year-plus career at De Beers.
Shawn Ryan, the PDAC's 2011 Prospector of the Year, is confirmed as president of Toronto-based Ryan Gold Corp. Former president David Schmidt will remain with the company as VP corporate development and a director. Ryan Gold recently completed a $52.3-million financing with which to advance its projects in the Yukon.
Toronto-based Treasury Metals says president Dr. Scott Jobin-Bevans has stepped down. Martin Walter, who joined the company in December 2010, will add the duties of president to those he already has as CEO.
The new VP operations of Vancouver's Yellowhead Mining is Alastair Tiver. He was most recently chief engineer at Copper Mountain Mining Corp.
