Vancouver-based
CanAlaska Uranium has a new COO, Cory Belyk. He was part of Cameco’s team that made the first discovery at Fox Lake and CanAlaska’s nearby West McArthur project.
Toronto’s
Havilah Mining Corp., owner of the True North gold mine in Bissett, Man., has named Ron Clayton as president and CEO. He replaces Blair Schultz who took on the role on an interim basis last June and who will remain the chairman of the board. Clayton was recently president and CEO of Tahoe Resources. He earned his BSc in mining engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and is a graduate of the Tuck School of Business executive program at Dartmouth College.
In advance of the upcoming preliminary economic analysis of the DeLamar gold project, Vancouver-based
Integra Resources Corp. has appointed Timothy D. Arnold as VP project development. He has over 30 years of experience in mine project development, mine permitting and mine operational management on various projects in the western United States. He succeeds Stephen Nano who will continue to serve as a director and advisor.
Norman Pitcher is the new president and CEO of
Mirasol Resources in Vancouver, effective Feb. 1, 2019. He holds a BSc in geosciences from the University of Arizona. Pitcher is also a non-executive director of Roxgold and Allegiant.
Pure Nickel of Toronto has appointed R. David Russell as CEO and president. He has been a director of the company for over 12 years. He is the holder of a BSc in mining engineering awarded by the Montana School of Mineral Science and Technology.
Vancouver-based
Rockridge Resources has established a technical advisory board that includes Canadian Mining Hall of Famer Ronald Netolitzky. He discovered three gold discoveries – Eskay Creek, Snip and Brewery Creek – that became producers. He has also contributed to the growth of several junior companies, and has been involved in a dozes M&A events.
