MINING PEOPLE: Bridgestone Americas, NorZinc, SilverCrest, and Stornoway

[caption id="attachment_1003725661" align="alignright" width="163"] Rob Seibert[/caption] Bridgestone Americas recently named Rob Seibert the new executive director of off-the-road sales at Bridgestone Americas Tires Operations. He was previously the company’s director of marketing, OTR, United States and Canada. He joined Bridgestone in 2015 after five years with P&H Mining Equipment. Anita Perry has joined the board of directors at NorZinc in Vancouver. She is currently VP of communications and external affairs at BP Canada. Vancouver-based SilverCrest Metals has appointed Pierre Beaudoin is COO. He has more than 30 years' experience in diversified mining, mineral processing, design, mine construction and start-up. He recently led the construction, start-up, and operation of the Detour Lake gold mine. Beaudoin will head the team developing the Las Chispas silver-gold project in Mexico. Stornoway Diamond Corp. of Longueuil, Que., has announced its succession plan for its chief executive. Matt Manson, currently president and CEO, will step down on Jan. 1 2019. He will be succeeded by Patrick Godin who is currently the corporation’s COO.
