He has international experience in both the construction and energy industries. Candelaria Mining Corp. of  Vancouver has added two appointments to its executive team. Curtis Turner is now CEO and a board member. Recently he was on the management team of Argonaut Gold, and before that at Yamana Gold and Meridian Gold. Ramon Perez, who was acting CEO, is now president of the company and retains his seat on the board. Patrick Evans and Mountain Province Diamonds are parting ways. He was the president and CEO during the exploration and development of the Gahcho Kue mine. Evans will remain on the board during a transition period. David Whittle, lead outside director of the company, will serve as interim president and CEO. Toronto-based Orefinders Resources has named Charles Beaudry as its VP of exploration and to its board of directors. His knowledge of deposits in the Abitibi will be of particular value to the company. The new president and CEO of Tervita Corporation in Calgary is John Cooper. He has over 30 years’ experience in diverse business settings particularly in environmental solutions leadership.
