Vancouver-based ATEX Resources has named Carl Hansen its new CEO. He was a co-founder of Andina Minerals and Atacama Pacific Gold. Previous CEO Thomas Pladsen will now be CFO.
MGM Resources Corp. of Vancouver has appointed Michael Lerner, Harvey McKenzie and Neil Novak to its board of directors. Michael Lerner also becomes the company’s CEO and CFO. Sole former board member Monty Montaine has resigned from the company.
As the Matawinie graphite project moves forward, the team at Vancouver-based Nouveau Monde Graphite is being strengthened with the following appointments: Martine Paradis, VP, chief engineer for infrastructure and environment; Alain Dorval, VP, chief engineer for metallurgy and process; as well as Arne H. Frandsen and Christopher Shepherd as directors.
The new VP of exploration at Oroco Resource Corp. in Vancouver is Ian Graham. He has 20 years of experience with companies such as Rio Tinto and Anglo American. Graham was also involved in the development of the Diavik diamond mine in the Northwest Territories.
