Doug Jones is now executive VP and COO of
Alio Gold in Vancouver. He will oversee operations at the Florida Canyon mine in Nevada and the San Francisco mine in Mexico. VP project development Paul Hosford will continue to oversee the development of the Ana Paula project in Mexico.
Toronto’s
Generation Mining has added Rod Thomas to its board and as VP exploration. A graduate of Queen’s University, he was recently general manager of Votorantim Metals where he directed resource definition of the Murray Brook zinc deposit in New Brunswick. He was president of the PDAC from 2014 to 2016, and he is a director if the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame.
Quantum Cobalt Corp. has named David Schmidt as its CEO and to the board. He replaces Greg Burns.

Regan Isenor has been named CEO of
MegumaGold Corp. (formerly Coronet Metals) in Vancouver. He takes over the CEO duties from Theo van der Linde who remains the company’s president. Isenor holds a masters of project management from St. Mary’s University.
Royal Road Minerals of Toronto says former VP operations Ivan Devia has assumed the role of COO to oversee exploration and development in Colombia and Nicaragua. Jenny Arias continues as VP responsible development, now focused on the company’s operations in southern Colombia. Lastly, the new CFO is Roderick Corrie.
