Alexco Resource Corp. of Vancouver has made some changes to its executive and board. Clynton Nauman is now executive chairman and CEO, Brad Thrall is the president, and Richard Zimmer is lead director. [caption id="attachment_1003718300" align="alignleft" width="171"] Clinton Nauman, executive chair and CEO of Alexco Resource Corp.[/caption] Montreal-based Canada Strategic Metals has named Jean-Francois Meilleur as CEO and president. He is also VP of critical elements involved in the development of a lithium project in the James Bay area, as well as a managing partner and co-owner of Paradox Public Relations. The Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum announced that Roy Slack of Cementation Canada is its president elect. He is a member of the CIM National Council and the President’s Council. He role as president begins in 2019. David Drutz has been appointed CEO of Lakeside Minerals in Toronto. He replaces Peter Bilodeau, who will remain a director of the company. Vancouver’s Mining Association of British Columbia has selected Bryan Cox its new president and CEO. He joined MABC as VP corporate affairs in 2014.
