BRITISH COLUMBIA - Metallurgical testing on material from the Spanish Mountain gold project near Williams Lake has indicated that 95% of the metal can be recovered in a cleaned concentrate. The project belongs to Spanish Mountain Gold of Vancouver. The company said that that the recovery rate could go even higher with the inclusion of a gravity circuit in the mill flowsheet.
The tests were performed on three composite samples with grades varying from 0.45 to 0.94 g/t Au. They were carried out by G&T Metallurgical Laboratory.
Measured and indicated resources at Spanish Mountain are 210.7 million tonnes averaging 0.581 g/t Au (at a cutoff of 0.3 g/t) or 3.9 million contained ounces. Work to expand the resources continues.
