VANCOUVER — Silverstone Resources and Silver Wheaton have agreed to a plan whereby Silver Wheaton will make an all-share offer for Silverstone. Silver Wheaton will issue 0.185 common shares for each Silverstone share, making the deal worth approximately C$206 million. Silver Wheaton's offer represents a 40% premium on the 20-day volume-weighted average of both companies' common shares.
The directors of Silverstone and its largest shareholder, Capstone Mining, support the merger.
