LABORATORY: SGS opens sample preparation facility in Whitehorse

YUKON – SGS Minerals is pleased to announce the opening of a new sample preparation facility in Whitehorse. This marks the expansion of SGS's unparalleled commercial geochemistry laboratory network in Canada, and the network's first sample preparation lab in the Yukon. The facility is equipped to provide drying, grinding, crushing, pulverizing and soil screening capabilities.  Sample preparation can be completed on the following sample types: core samples, reverse circulation chips, rock samples, trench samples, and soil samples. The new Whitehorse laboratory will integrate with SGS' currently unmatched commercial geochemistry laboratory network. In Canada the company has labs in Lakefield, Ont., Cochrane, Ont., Red Lake, Ont., Sudbury, Ont., Val-d'Or, Que., and Vancouver, B.C .
