IRON ORE EXPLORATION: Permit approved to dewater old Griffith pit

ONTARIO – Northern Iron Corp. of Vancouver has received a permit allowing it to dewater the North pit at the former Griffith iron ore mine to a maximum depth of 25 metres. That will allow the company to conduct exploration drilling from the upper benches.

The former Griffith mine near Red Lake was active from 1968 to 1986. It is now 100% owned by Northern Iron (NorthernIronCorp.com). The company has four other iron ore projects on the go.
