HOUSING: First Nations housing conference in February

THUNDER BAY, ON – The 15^th annual First Nations Housing Conference is set to run from Feb. 7 to 9, 2017, at the Valhalla Inn in Thunder Bay. Opening ceremonies will be held from 9 am to 10:30 am on Tuesday. On Wednesday, visit the builders challenge and tradeshow between 8 am and 4:30 pm. The challenge will be hosted by TV personality Jon Eakes. Contestants will compete to finish a prescribed home improvement task. Make plans that evening to attend the community recognition awards banquet beginning at 5 pm. Highlights from the opening ceremonies, builders challenge and awards banquet will be web-cast and archived for later reference at the FNHC website.
