HOT TOPIC: Best mining town

Montreal, according to a list compiled by Lonely Planet, is the second happiest place on earth. First place went to Vanuatu in the South Pacific.

That got us wondering about the best mining communities in Canada. As a miner, young or old, in which town would you be happiest?

Last week we enquired whether our readers would support the redevelopment of Ontario Place that includes a mining exhibit. Three out of four respondents (77%) said "yes".
