HOT TOPIC: Are you getting your share of the money? (March 31, 2010)

Investors are again opening their wallets and taking an interest in the mineral sector. Equity financings, flow-through shares and initial public offerings are enjoying a period of success after the dry spell of 2008 and 2009.

So we are asking this week: How much easier is your company finding it to raise money now than it was a year or two ago?

Last week: Thinking of the Quadra-FNX merger and their confidence in the price of copper, we asked our readers if they thought the price of copper would outperforms the price of nickel. Evidently, not many readers had an opinion on the subject. Only nine voted. Seven of them think the copper price will outperform the nickel price for the rest of this year. Two said no. And no respondents thought it would take two or three years for copper to outpace nickel.
