BRITISH COLUMBIA - When KNELSON GRAVITY SOLUTIONS of Langley, B.C., held its global gravity summit Sept. 28-30, 2006, the three-day event brought together over 120 industry professionals. Operators, managers, researchers and industry professionals learned about the latest trends in gravity concentration.
The morning of the first day was packed with technical presentations and case studies from around the world. Projects in Brazil, British Columbia, Indonesia, Australia and Russia were examined. Recent developments, new applications and future possibilities for gravity concentration were also explored.
Delegates were then treated to a tour of the Knelson plant and laboratory followed by a reception marking the official launch of the KC-XD40 concentrator. Then they were bussed to Whistler, B.C., for dinner and the following day's activities (golfing, fishing or exploring the area). At the end of the day guests enjoyed a gala wind-up dinner. They returned to Vancouver on Saturday.
