White Gold Corp. has received more results from exploration drilling at the Golden Saddle deposit, part of the company’s White Gold project 95 km south of Dawson City. Hole WHTGS17DD-0170 returned a strong intercept of 4.57 g/t gold over 34 metres, including 6.3 g/t over 21 metres.
Hole WHTGS117RC-005, a 50-metre down-dip step out along the GS Main zone, assayed 1.42 g/t gold over 54.86 metres, including two higher grade zones – 5.34 g/t over 7.62 metres and 5.03 g/t over 4.57 metres.
White Gold says the recent results help to further define the Golden Saddle Main zone (GS Main) and extend the mineralization associated with the Footwall zone of the deposit.
The company drilled 31 reverse circulation (4,432 metres) and four diamond drill (1,295 metres) holes at Golden Saddle this summer. Additional drilling was done at the Arc deposit, Ulli’s target and the Golden Saddle East target area.
