QUEBEC – Visible Gold Mines of Rouyn-Noranda, QC, has contracted Prospectair Geosurveys to fly its 100% owned 167 Extension property in the James Bay region. Prospectair will conduct helicopter-borne magnetic and time-domain electromagnetic surveys over 3,995 line km at 100-metre line spacing.
Visible Gold has been testing boulders found along Route 167, and expects the MAG-TDEM surveys will point to sub-outcropping sources for these boulders. Of the five boulders tested along km 150 the best result was 39.31 g/t Au, 39.0 g/t Ag and 1.00% Cu.
The current survey consists of two different survey blocks. Click here to see a map.
