YUKON – Toronto’s Victoria Gold Corp. has chosen a fleet of Caterpillar equipment for its developing Eagle gold mine375 km north of Whitehorse. The project has entered the basic and detailed engineering phase for a mine that will average 190,000 oz. of gold annually during its 10  years of operation. [caption id="attachment_1003717845" align="alignright" width="300"] Victoria Gold is buying two Cat 6040FS shovels for its Eagle gold mine.[/caption] Finning (Canada) will supply two 6040FS hydraulic shovels, 11 135-tonne, 785D haul trucks, and various auxiliary equipment.
