Falco Resources has updated resources at its Horne 5 project near Rouyn-Noranda with a 32% boost to gold equivalent ounces in the measured and indicated category.
Horne 5 is now estimated to host a measured resource of 736,000 oz AuEq (9.4 million tonnes at 2.45 g/t AuEq). The indicated resource contains 6.34 million oz AuEq (81.7 million tonnes averaging 2.45 g/t AuEq). There is also an inferred resource of 22.3 million tonnes averaging 2.39 g/t AuEq and containing 1.71 million oz AuEq.
Drilling continues to test additional targets near the Horne 5 deposit. The 2016 program will include 20,000 metres at both Horne 5 and the Quemont Extension.
Falco is working on a feasibility study that will contain the updated resource numbers. That report is to be completed in the first half of 2017.
