(Image: Aurania Resources)[/caption] ECUADOR – Dr. Keith Barron, chairman and CEO of Aurania Resources in Toronto, has registered a charitable foundation for communities near its Lost Cities-Cutucu gold and silver project. The foundation and the company are domiciled in Bermuda. The Fundacion Dar Un Paso Adelante (Step-Forward Foundation) is mandated to encouraging literacy and numeracy among the Shuar children and youth in the province of Morona-Santiago. It will work with the local community and various levels of government to reach its goal. The foundation is wholly financed with 450,000 shares of the company, representing about $1 million.
