The Dufferin mill is in working order, ready for the start of mining later this month.[/caption]
Initial mill tests included all circuits, each of which performed as expected, said the company. Gold was recovered from the gravity circuit and during trials of individual pieces of equipment. The 15-tonne sample was processed through the jaw crusher, cone crusher, a double deck vibrating screen, and conveyed to the fine ore bin. From the fine ore bin the material was conveyed to the ball mill and screened to —2 mm before being sent to the centrifuges. Concentrates were piped to a secure holding tank before they passed over the shaking table. Further testing is being done to improve separation of gold and waste material on the table.
A total of 10.1 oz. of gold was recovered.
