QUEBEC –
Radisson Mining Resources has intersected significant high grade gold 300 metres below the current resources at the O’Brien project located half-way between Rouyn-Noranda and Val d’Or. The results were part of a 20,000-metre exploration drilling campaign on the property.
Drill hole OB-19-92w2b intersected 66.72 g/t gold over 4.7 metres, with several sectional grades, the highest of which was 616.00 g/t over 0.5 metre. The bonanza find occurred at a vertical depth of 850 metres, 300 metres below mineralization that is included in the current resource estimate. The drill core revealed visible gold in a smoky quartz vein as well as arsenopyrite-pyrite mineralization associated with biotite alteration. The past producing mine was developed to a depth of 1,150 metres.
Radisson continues to drill exploration targets below the current resources that reach only to the 550 metres vertical depth. Very little work has been done below that.
The O’Brien property is 100% owned by Radisson. Find more details including the latest resource estimate at
