QUEBEC – There is no doubt that
Osisko Mining of Toronto has the golden touch. One of the latest cores from the Lynx zone at its Windfall Lake project in Urban Twp. returned 36.0 g/t gold over 6.9 metres (29.9 g/t cut) from hole OSK-W-17-1006.

Other notable results include 116 g/t gold over 2.3 metres (31.8 g/t cut to 100 g/t) in hole 17-873; 25.5 g/t gold over 4.0 metres in hole 17-924; 27.1 g/t gold over 3.5 metres (20.5 g/t cut) in hole 17-922; 24.3 g/t gold over 3.5 metres in hole 17-1010; and 21.3 g/t gold over 3.0 metres in hole 17-1048.

Osisko recently doubled this year’s Windfall Lake drilling program to 800,000 metres. The mineral resource defined by the previous operator (Oban Mining) was 2.8 million tonnes at 8.42 g/t gold (748,000 oz.) in the indicated category and 3.5 million tonnes at 7.62 g/t (860,000 oz.) in the inferred category.
