(Image: Nighthawk Gold)[/caption] NORTHWEST TERRITORIES – As preliminary metallurgical tests continue on material from its Colomac gold project, Nighthawk Gold of Toronto has offered an update on the results so far. The rock is amenable to all major gold recovery technologies. Recovery from low grade material was 96.5% and from high grade material was 98.0%. A combination of gravity recovery and cyanide leaching was used. Heap leach tests were also conducted. These results showed variability between methods and grades, but were within the range of expected recovery – 34.3% to 81.8%. Nighthawk says it favours the heap leaching option. Detailed tables of the test methods and results are available in the May 22, 2018, news release posted at www.NighthawkGold.com.
