QUEBEC –
Monarques Gold of Montreal has signed a custom milling contract with
Eldorado Gold. Monarques’ Camflo mill, located east of Val d’Or, will treat up to 55,000 tonnes of material from the nearby Lamaque gold mine until the end of 2017. The contract can be extended by mutual agreement.

The Camflo mill also treats ore from the Beaufor mine, but that leaves much of the milling capacity unused. With additional ore from Lamaque, the mill will operate at 90% of its 1,200-t/d capacity. Monarques has received permission from the province to increase the throughput at Camflo to 1,600 t/d.
Monarques operates the Beaufor mine and the Camflo and Beacon mills. The company is also advancing the Croinor gold project in Quebec and the Wasamac gold property in Ontario. Learn more at
