BRITISH COLUMBIA — Encore Renaissance Resources has completed test mining 1,000 tonnes of gold-bearing material from the test pit at its Bonaparte gold project 35 km north of Kamloops. Four samples from the pit face averaged 36.5 g/t.
Preliminary mineral processing tests indicate that gold recovery from the samples, and potentially from the whole bulk sample, was 97%. Over 80% of gold-bearing sulphides was recovered in a gravity separation test.
Encore crews are setting the collar in preparation for going underground to collect a 10,000-tonne bulk sample.
Encore has earned a 51% interest in the Bonaparte property. If all goes as planned, ore shipments could begin in mid-2010. (See the presentation at www.EncoreRenaissance.com/pdfs/encore_renaissance_bonaparte_ppt_june_%202009.pdf
