GOLD MINING: Bachelor Lake receives environmental okay for bulk sample

QUEBEC - Metanor Resources of Val d'Or, QC, has received the environmental permit for the Bachelor Lake gold mine 225 km north of Val d'Or. The company can now take a 5,000-tonne bulk sample at the mine. The pre-feasibility study released earlier this year (see CMJ Daily Headline News for Jan 4, 2011) suggests the project could achieve full commercial production at a rate of 5,000 oz per month in Q3 2012.
