GOLD MINING: Bachelor Lake pours 100th gold bar

QUEBEC - The 100th gold bar has been poured from the reopened Bachelor Lake mill in Desmaraisville, reports owner Metanor Resources of Val d'Or, QC. The ore was mined from the Barry open pit.

The mill began operating at 408 t/d, then ramped up to 800 t/d and recently expanded to 1,200 t/d capacity. It is operating at close to 1,100 t/d with a 94-95% gold recovery rate.
