(Image: Kirkland Lake Gold)[/caption] ONTARIO – Toronto-based Kirkland Lake Gold produced 180,155 oz. of gold in  Q3 2018 – above target and a record quarterly output. The Macassa, Holt and Taylor mines in Northern Ontario collectively produced 89,537 oz., and the Fosterville mine in Australia turned out 90,618 oz. Production for the first nine months of 2018 totaled 492,484 oz. of gold, 15% above the same quarter a year earlier. Guidance for the full year is 635,000 oz. Kirkland Lake has also enjoyed significant exploration success. At the South mine complex, adjacent to  Macassa, high grade intersections outside the current resource have been drilled. A very high grade area has also been identified with grades in excess of 30 g/t gold and true widths greater than 3.0 metres. At Fosterville, in-fill drilling of the Swan zone is returning exceptionally high grades over solid widths up to 200 metres down plunge from the current resource. Significant growth in resources is expected by the end of 2018. See the current corporate presentation for information about the Macassa No.4 shaft project at www.KLKLGold.com.
