MANITOBA - SAN GOLD CORP. of Bissett, Man., reports that it continues to intersect high-grade gold mineralization below the 1,615-m level of its Rice Lake mine. Hole No.27 cut 18.0 g/t Au across 4.6 m within an intersection from 127.1 to 133.6 m that averaged 14.6 g/t Au.

The same hole returned 14.8 g/t Au over 1.8 m, 5.8 g/t Au over 9.7 m, 5.9 g/t Au over 2.4 m, 11.2 g/t Au over 4.9 m and 10.1 g/t Au over 2.1 m. These intersections occurred between 50.0 and 118.2 m.

San Gold says the deepest intersection of this hole has cut the downward extension of the high-grade 96 vein. This vein is currently under development for two mining levels.
